Beautiful and rare Alfa Romeo Sprint 1.5 QV finished in Nero
Car registered from new in Portugal.
CAR IS CURRENTLY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1 H NORTH OF LISBON, CAN DELIVER IF REQUIRED. VIRTUAL AND PERSONAL VIEWING POSSIBLE.
Car was stored for a considerable time until the previous owner disinterred it and completed required mechanical rehabilitation and at the same time repainted the car in the correct Alfa Romeo Nero black.
Since purchasing the car I have undertaken a major rebuild which was finished in 2022. The car has since completed just over 1000 km.
Rebuild included:
Rebuilt, series correct (30146), motor. Motor was rebuilt by Dave Ashburn of Brunswick Motorsport and now produces approximately 135 useable HP.
Rebuild included rehoning bores, reseating valves and fitting harder valve seats, slightly higher cams to improve HP but not lose low down torque, 40mm carburetors, ITG air filters & trumpets, full balance etc.
Rebuilt 1.2ti 5 speed gearbox
33 ventilated disc brake conversion and rebuilt and plated brake calipers
H&R 35mm stiffened springs all round
New shock absorbers all round
New front roller bearings fitted
All rubber bushes replaced with Powermax classic polyurethane items
Bespoke exhaust manifold and full exhaust system.
In addition to mechanical rebuild the following have also been completed:
Powder coating of original 14 “ Speedline alloys including spare
Fitting 4 new Toyo Proxies 185 x 65 tyres
Renewing side bolster cloth on drivers side seat using original NOS fabric.
Recovering steering wheel, handbrake and gearlever gaiter with correct black leather.
Most of the original parts will be sold with the car and also 4 more Speedline alloys.
POSSIBLE SWAP FOR 916 SPIDER V6.
