Escort RS1600 1982. The iconic hothatch from the 80's!
This Escort is an RS1600I in base, but had a lot of race-spec modifications.
ENGINE is the original RS1600i with two 40DCOE Weber carburettors. A fast road camshaft, with a adjustable camshaft sprocket. A light flywheel, Close Ratio 5 speed gearbox. Full stainless exhaust.
SUSPENSIONis a full GAZ Gold coilover set.Adjustable wishbones in front, R1600I aluminium adjustable subframe. Polyurethane bushes. Adjustable tie rods rear.
BRAKES are cosworth. At this point rear Cosworth disc conversion. At front XR3I brakes for temporary. De 4-pot cosworth calipers are also with the car including rebuild kits.
WHEELS are 5 pcs OZ racing wheels. Ultra light weight magnesium with semi-Slicks road legal tyres which are as good as new.
INTERIOR has a bolt-in roll cage, and two race seats with Schroth belts. A deepdish Rally steering wheel.
EXTERIOR speaks for itself. Original RS Turbo series one kit. RS1600i tailgate spoiler. 4 pcs Hella Ralley1000 headlights.
