He was at an exhibition in 1996 in Fürth-Germany when the owner of the hotel he slept said to him:
"You can sleep here for free, when you do me the favor and paint my big white car". So Mr. Lilanga started to paint the car during this exhibition spontaniously. Also the african artist Poni Yengi took this once in a lifetime opportunity and painted the hood and the back of this car.
