Series 3, 88 Santana ((NIEUW / NEW))

Deze Land Rover Santana 88 series 3 van 1979 is volledig vanaf het chassis nieuw opgebouwd.

Het chassis is gezandstraald en behandeld en vanaf hier is zowat elk onderdeel nieuw of hergebruikt waarbij op niets is bespaard. Al het plaatwerk is bewerkt en in nieuwstaat gebracht en opnieuw gespoten in de fraaie originele mintgroene Land Rover lakkleur. Ook de velgen zijn in de kleur limestone gespoten met daaromheen nieuwe Goodyear type ‘Wrangler’ banden in de maat 235-85-16. Ook het complete elektrische systeem is vernieuwd met nieuwe verlichting en alarmlichten en werkt op 12 volt.

Zowel de buitensloten als het contactslot zijn compleet nieuw met originele sleutels. Het originele dashboard werd met zwart skai opnieuw bekleed met nieuwe schakelaars en tellers en bedieningsknoppen. Elektrische ventilatie en verwarming is aanwezig.

De Land Rover Santana is een 7 persoons uitvoering met voorin 3 nieuwe stoelen die zijn voorzien van zwarte skai doorgestikte moderne bekleding met 3-punts rolgordels. Achterin 2 bankjes met skai bekleed.
De auto is voorzien van een trekhaak en elektrisch systeem. Alle rubbers van ramen en deuren werden vernieuwd en alle delen sluiten dan ook perfect.

Op de carrosserie hebben we de originele ronde spiegels gemonteerd die perfect passen bij de looks van deze Land Rover Santana. Deze auto is voorzien van een fraai solide canvas dak, dat ook deels te openen is. Op de motorkap vind je het reservewiel zoals het eigenlijk ook gewoon hoort.
Niet alleen optisch is de auto in nieuwstaat ook technisch werd er op niets bespaard. De complete dieselmotor is volledig gereviseerd alsmede de versnellingsbak en aandrijflijn. De ophanging werd gereviseerd waarbij alle onderdelen nieuw of geheel gereviseerd werden gemonteerd om de auto weer in Nieuwstraat te brengen. Op de foto’s is te zien dat er gebruik gemaakt is van originele (nieuw) gemaakte onderdelen. Deze Land Rover Santana 88 is een prachtige klassieker die je in deze staat nauwelijks nog tegenkomt.

This 1979 Land Rover Santana 88 Series 3 has been completely rebuilt from the chassis up.
The chassis was sandblasted and treated, and from there, almost every part has been replaced or restored with no expense spared. All body panels have been refurbished to like-new condition and repainted in the beautiful original mint green Land Rover color. The wheels have been painted in limestone and fitted with new Goodyear Wrangler tires, size 235/85R16. The entire electrical system has been renewed, including new lights and hazard signals, and now operates on a 12-volt system.

All external locks, including the ignition lock, are brand new and come with original keys. The original dashboard has been reupholstered in black vinyl and fitted with new switches, gauges, and control buttons. The vehicle also features electric ventilation and heating.

This Land Rover Santana is a 7-seater model with three new front seats, upholstered in black, quilted modern vinyl with three-point retractable seat belts. The rear features two bench seats, also upholstered in vinyl.

The vehicle is equipped with a tow hitch and an electrical system. All window and door seals have been replaced, ensuring a perfect fit. The body has been complemented with the original round mirrors, which perfectly match the vintage look of this Land Rover Santana. It also features a solid, stylish canvas roof that can be partially opened. The spare wheel is mounted on the hood, just as it should be.

Not only is the vehicle in pristine visual condition, but it has also been thoroughly restored mechanically with no compromises. The complete diesel engine has been fully overhauled, as well as the gearbox and drivetrain. The suspension system has been refurbished, with all parts either replaced or entirely reconditioned to bring the vehicle back to like-new condition.
